This page explains the terms under which Yuktai is offered, what Yuktai is and isn't, and how we handle the information you share with us. We've written it to be read, not skimmed.

1. What Yuktai is
Yuktai is a Vedic astrology platform that generates personalised readings based on your birth time, date, and place. The readings and conversations are produced by an AI guide named Diya, drawing on classical Vedic astrological principles and the data you provide about your chart.
Diya is an AI — specifically, a large language model with custom training, safeguards, and prompts that we have built. She is not a human astrologer. We make this clear upfront because we believe you deserve to know who you are talking to.
Yuktai is offered for personal use, for purposes of self-reflection and understanding. Nothing on this platform is intended to substitute for professional advice or judgement.
2. What Yuktai is not
Yuktai is not a medical service. Diya does not diagnose, treat, or predict the course of any physical or mental health condition. If you are experiencing health symptoms, please consult a qualified medical professional.
Yuktai is not a mental health service. Diya is not a therapist, counsellor, or crisis service. If you are in distress, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional or a crisis helpline in your country.
Yuktai is not a legal service. Diya does not give legal advice. For legal questions, please consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
Yuktai is not a financial service. Diya does not give investment advice, financial planning, or specific guidance on transactions of any kind. For financial decisions, please consult a qualified financial advisor.
Yuktai is not a substitute for relationships with real humans. The guidance Diya offers is one perspective among many. The people in your life, and the professionals you can turn to when you need real help, matter more than any reading we can offer.
3. Eligibility
Yuktai is intended for people aged 18 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using Yuktai with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under 13, we will delete that information.
4. About the readings
Vedic astrology is a tradition that interprets patterns. Yuktai's readings are based on the calculations and interpretive principles of that tradition. The readings reflect possibilities, themes, and timing windows — not certainties.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Astrological readings are interpretive, not predictive of specific events
- No astrological reading — by Diya, by us, or by anyone else — can guarantee future outcomes
- Decisions you make in your life remain yours alone. Yuktai is a tool for reflection, not a basis for irreversible choices
- We are not liable for actions you take or decisions you make based on Diya's readings
If you ever find yourself making important life decisions primarily based on astrology, we encourage you to step back and bring those decisions to people in your life who know you, and to professionals qualified to advise you on them.
5. Your account and use of Yuktai
You agree to:
- Provide accurate birth information so that Yuktai can generate a meaningful reading for you
- Use Yuktai for your own personal reflection, not for commercial resale of readings or for harassment, harm, or deception of others
- Not attempt to extract Diya's underlying instructions, bypass her safety boundaries, or use the service in ways designed to make her give harmful guidance
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of Yuktai, including but not limited to attempts to extract our proprietary prompts, redistribute our readings commercially, or use the platform to harm others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the platform, attempt to manipulate Diya's safety systems, or violate these terms.
Service availability. We work hard to keep Yuktai available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Yuktai depends on third-party services (hosting, AI providers, payment processors) and occasional outages or maintenance windows are unavoidable. We are not liable for downtime, but we will work to minimise it.
6. Subscriptions, refunds, and billing
Yuktai offers a free tier and one or more paid subscription tiers. Pricing for paid tiers is shown on the pricing page and in your account.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time inside your account settings — this takes two clicks and stops future charges. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds:
- If you cancel within 14 days of a new subscription, we will refund the charge in full
- If you cancel within 14 days of a renewal, write to care@yuktai.com and we will refund the renewal
- Beyond 14 days, refunds are considered case by case. We aim to be reasonable — if Yuktai isn't working for you, tell us, and we'll do what we can
Payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
7. How we handle your information
You share two kinds of information with Yuktai:
Account information — your email, name, and payment details. We use this to operate your account and process billing. We do not sell it to anyone.
Birth chart and conversation data — your birth time, date, place, and the conversations you have with Diya. This is used to generate your readings and to maintain continuity across your sessions with Diya. We store this securely.
Conversations that touch on sensitive topics — including any conversation flagged by our safety system — are treated with additional protection and are not used for marketing or product analytics in any way that could identify you personally.
We use anonymised, aggregated data from conversations to improve Diya's responses over time. No individual user is identifiable in this data.
We do not share your personal information with third parties except:
- With service providers we use to operate Yuktai (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) — and only what is necessary for them to do their job
- When required by law or to protect the safety of users
- If Yuktai is acquired or merged with another company, in which case your information would transfer subject to the same protections described here
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your data, or correct inaccurate information by writing to care@yuktai.com.
What happens when you delete your account: When you delete your account, your personal information, birth chart data, and conversation history are removed from our active systems within 30 days. Backup systems are purged within 90 days. Anonymised aggregate data may be retained — but this data contains nothing that could identify you personally.
How long we keep your data while your account is active: We keep your conversation history with Diya for as long as your account is active, so that Diya can maintain continuity in your conversations. You can clear your conversation history at any time from your account settings.
Account information and billing records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting laws — typically seven years — even after account deletion. This is a legal requirement we cannot waive.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, you have additional rights under those laws. We will honour those rights on request.
8. Crisis and safety
If you tell Diya you are thinking of ending your life, that someone is hurting you, or that you are in a place that feels unsafe, Diya will stop the astrology reading and provide crisis support resources appropriate to your region.
These conversations may be reviewed by a member of our team trained in safety, so that we can continuously improve how Diya responds in difficult moments. Your identity is protected in these reviews — reviewers see the conversation and the chart context, not your name or contact information.
In a true emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline directly. Yuktai is not an emergency service.
9. Content and intellectual property
The interpretations, software, design, and content on Yuktai are ours. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish readings or content from Yuktai for commercial purposes without our written permission.
You may share your own readings with friends and family for personal purposes — screenshots, conversations, and so on. That kind of personal sharing is fine and encouraged.
If we add features that let you share content publicly — reviews, community posts, shared readings, or similar — content you submit will be subject to additional terms shown to you at the time. By posting publicly, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content within Yuktai. You retain ownership of what you create.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Yuktai is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any reading, response, or information provided by Diya. Diya is an AI, and AI systems can produce unexpected, inaccurate, or contextually inappropriate responses despite our best efforts.
You are responsible for your own decisions. We are not liable for any decisions you make, actions you take, financial outcomes, relationships, health outcomes, or any other consequences you experience as a result of using Yuktai. This includes consequences from following Diya's guidance, from misunderstanding her guidance, or from her getting something wrong.
Liability cap. To the extent we are found liable for anything related to your use of Yuktai, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with specific consumer protection laws, those laws may give you additional rights that override these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through Yuktai before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change.
If you continue to use Yuktai after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel your account and we will refund any unused portion of a paid subscription.
12. Disputes
Before raising any dispute formally, please write to us at care@yuktai.com. We will work with you in good faith to resolve any concern. We have found that most issues can be addressed through direct conversation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved that way, it will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yuktai's corporate entity is registered, and resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. The current registration jurisdiction is noted in our company information.
